Early Life and Education

Gabrielle Jeannette Hanna, known professionally as Gabbie Hanna, was born on February 7, 1991, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, USA. She pursued higher education at the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a degree in psychology and communications. During her college years, she was a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. After graduation, Hanna briefly worked for a marketing company but left upon discovering it operated as a pyramid scheme. 

Rise to Internet Fame

Hanna's online career began on the now-defunct platform Vine, where she gained popularity for her comedic skits under the moniker "The Gabbie Show." Her success on Vine led her to launch a YouTube channel of the same name in 2014, which quickly amassed a substantial following. Her content, characterized by storytime videos, rants, and vlogs, resonated with a wide audience, earning her over 5 million subscribers. 

Music and Literary Pursuits

Expanding her creative endeavors, Hanna ventured into music, releasing her debut single "Out Loud" in 2017. She followed this with two extended plays: "2WayMirror" in 2019 and "Bad Karma" in 2020. Her debut studio album, "Trauma Queen," was released on July 22, 2022. 

In addition to her music career, Hanna is a published author. Her poetry collections, "Adultolescence" (2017) and "Dandelion" (2020), both achieved New York Times Best Seller status. 

Acting and Television Appearances

Hanna has also made appearances in various web series and television shows. Notably, she participated in the YouTube Premium series "Escape the Night," portraying "The Vaudevillian" in its second season. Her performance contributed to the show's ensemble cast, which received nominations at the Streamy Awards.

Personal Life and Recent Endeavors

Hanna has been open about her struggles with mental health, discussing her experiences with conditions such as OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. In early 2023, she took a hiatus from social media to focus on her well-being. During this period, she returned to her hometown of New Castle and began working as a fitness instructor at the Lawrence County YMCA, teaching classes like Zumba and "Ballet Body."
